ORSC Series FAQ’s

What is ORSC?

ORSC stands for Organisation and Relationship Systems Coaching. It’s a coaching methodology that focuses on improving relationships and the dynamics within teams, organisations, families, and communities.

  • Align differences and increase positivity
  • Boost creativity and productivity, to achieve shared goals

Whether you’re a professional coach, a consultant, an organisational head, HR professional, group or team leader, the ORSC concepts and tools are absolutely designed to benefit you.

How is ORSC different from individual coaching?

ORSC focuses on coaching relationship systems, whereas individual coaching primarily addresses the development and growth of an individual. ORSC explores how relationships impact individual and collective performance.

Who can benefit from ORSC coaching?

ORSC coaching can benefit anyone looking to improve relationships, communication, and collaboration within teams, organisations, or other groups. It’s used in professional settings, families, and communities.

What are some key principles of ORSC?

ORSC is based on principles such as systems intelligence, active listening, conflict resolution, alignment, adaptability, and systemic problem-solving.

How does ORSC address conflicts within teams or organisations?

ORSC provides techniques for addressing conflicts constructively. Coaches help teams navigate conflicts as opportunities for growth and improved understanding, rather than as destructive issues.

What is systems intelligence, and why is it important in ORSC?

Systems intelligence is the ability to understand and navigate the complexities of relationship systems. It’s essential in ORSC because it helps individuals see the interconnections and patterns within a system, enabling more effective coaching and problem-solving.

Can ORSC be applied outside of professional settings?

Yes, ORSC principles can be applied in various settings, including families, communities, and personal relationships, to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen connections.

How does ORSC coaching promote adaptability?

ORSC encourages adaptability by helping individuals and teams embrace change and navigate transitions effectively. It equips them with tools to address resistance and maintain cohesion during times of change.

What are some tangible benefits of ORSC coaching for organisations?

ORSC coaching can lead to improved team collaboration, enhanced communication, better conflict resolution, increased adaptability to change, and a more positive organisational culture.

How long does it take to see results from ORSC coaching?

The timeline for seeing results from ORSC coaching can vary depending on the specific goals and challenges of the relationship system being coached. Some improvements may be noticed relatively quickly, while others may take more time to manifest.
